There is some fantastic schools rugby coming up this week, with games on throughout the week.
7s will likely dominate, with some huge tournaments on Wednesday, not least the Hampton 7s and the Solihull 7s, however here we will focus on the fifteen-a-side game, with previews of the 7s tournaments to come tomorrow.
Looking at the fifteen-a-side game, there are some massive fixtures and some absolutely vital bits of preparation too, with both Warwick and Woodhouse Grove in action ahead of their Schools Cup semi final on the 9th March.
On Wednesday Warwick host AASE side Moulton College as they look to keep their momentum and sharpness going ahead of that semi final in a little under two weeks.
Woodhouse Grove meanwhile are in action on Friday night at Yarnbury RFC against another AASE side, Bishop Burton College. Bishop Burton will provide a huge challenge, but one that if Woodhouse Grove come out with a good performance from they will head into that semi final bouncing with confidence.
The action actually starts on Tuesday with Christ’s Hospital, fresh from hosting the Sussex Schools 7s on Sunday, heading to Glyn.
Then on Wednesday in addition to Warwick v Moulton College there is a County Cup game between Beaumont and Dame Alice Owens, while Worksop College host Hall Cross and Harrodian welcome St Benedict’s 2nd XV. Meanwhile in the North West Cheadle Hulme welcome Wilmslow High School for what ought to be a fantastic game.
The action continues on Thursday as Duke of York’s Royal Military School host Dover College before the midweek action rounds off on Friday evening with that game in Yorkshire between Woodhouse Grove and Bishop Burton.
