As last year, there are five level of competition at U18 Level, Champions Trophy, Cup, Plate, Vase, and Bowl, and four at U15 Level, Cup, Plate, Vase, and Bowl.

The Plate competition at both levels is for teams losing the opening round of the Cup, with the Bowl for those losing in the first round of the Vase. The Champions Trophy, meanwhile, is a standalone competition lasting just one term for an elite group of 32 teams.

At U18 level last year the Champions Trophy was won by Tonbridge, who beat reigning champions Bedford in the final at Allianz Park in early December.

The remaining finals took place in March, with the Cup and Vase at Twickenham, and the Plate and Bowl at Worcester Warriors’ Sixways Stadium.

Warwick took the U18 Cup, beating Bishop Wordsworth’s in the final, with Wellington College winning the U15 Cup. The U18 Vase went to Trent College, with Thomas Hardye securing the U15 title.

Over at Sixways Reigate Grammar School were the U18 Plate champions, with Sir Thomas Rich’s taking the U15 version, while in the Bowl Old Swinford Hospital were the U18 champions, with the U15 title heading to Beths Grammar School.
